From Trinidad/Kim
Take Hwy 160 east to County Rd 3 (3 miles inside the Baca County Line). Turn south on County Rd 3 (where you see the telephone poles cross sides of the road) between mile marker 434 and 435. There should be an Everett Ranch sign pointing south right as you turn off of the highway. Go south about 7 miles and when the county road takes a big turn to the left (east) Continue driving south (straight) across a cattle guard. The road will wind around for about a mile and a half and you will cross a creek and then another cattle guard. Continue on the road until you come to a T where you can go no farther. There will be a pen in front of you. Go left into the yard of the Everett ranch. Go past the first house and stop at the second house, it will be a sandstone rock house with the guesthouse sitting in the front yard.
From La Junta
Take Hwy 109 south to just north of Kim where the intersection of Hwy 160 and Hwy 109 and follow the directions from Kim.
From Springfield
Take Hwy 160 west through Pritchett. From Pritchett follow Hwy 160 west until you come to County Rd 3 (where the telephone poles cross sides of the road) between mile marker 434 and 435. From Lamar
Take Hwy 287 south to the intersection of Hwy 160 and Hwy 287 just south of Springfield and follow the directions from Springfield.
From Boise City/Campo
Take Hwy 287 north to Campo, Colorado. Just north of Campo the highway turns west, at the curve where the highway begins to straighten out and go from west to back north look for County Rd M that goes west from Hwy 287. From Hwy 287 to the Everett ranch is 23-24 miles of dirt and gravel road. There should be Everett ranch signs periodically on the dirt road. It will seem like a very long way. You will pass a Comanche National Grassland sign for Carrizo Picnic area about 2 miles east of our drive way along County Rd M. From the Carrizo sign you will go down a hill and curve around by a creek, cross a green bridge and start up a smaller grade. About 1/2 – 2/3 up the hill there will be a road off to your right, take this road. You will shortly cross a cattle guard and start down a steep hill. Stop at the first house you come to at the foot of the hill, it will be a sandstone house with the guesthouse in the front yard.
