So I have for resupplies- the 5th at Leadville, the 9 at Buena Vista 14 at Mt Princeton, 20 at hwy 114… Mom will do the first two and Casey will do the other two and pick us up on the 25.
I am giving myself options to change out gear at times to try out different things- like initially I will only use the fly of my tent and not the inside while it is just me in it and then I will get the inner tent either on the first or second resupply. I am also trying out a couple of different sleeping pads. Will I sleep well enough on just a foam one? We will see. Also some colder weather gear for later in the month. I will try to comment on how these changes are going. Also food – will I need as much as I packed?
This will be a great learning trip. Lots of good testing of ideas I have wanted to try out.
